About Annette

 

Annette describes her 35-year career as a blessing and as an adventure! She has a unique blend of experiences in leading global transformations through roles as a chief human resource officer, and senior leader of shared service teams, company turnarounds, engineering, product development, innovation, and technology enablement. As a previous C Suite executive, Annette is well equipped to "see" the possibilities or risks and can provide fair observation, challenge the status quo and inspire people to take control of defining their path forward.

She has both the breadth and depth of knowledge in leading strategic planning, global change management, and all functional areas of HR, including labor relation negotiations, total rewards design, talent management, leadership development and succession planning. She led build initiatives in the U.S., China, Japan, Great Britain, Mexico, Canada, Brazil and Australia.

Annette has a Bachelor of Arts in English with a minor in Business from Gustavus Adolphus College in St. Peter, Minnesota.  She received her executive coaching certification from the Center of Executive Coaching in Sarasota, Florida and is working towards the International Coaching Federation certification as well. She is also certified in the Art of Convening through the Center for Purposeful Leadership.  She has worked         with several competency management systems including DDI and Lominger and has used several assessment tools in her coaching practice including Clifton Strengthsfinder, Insights, Profiles XT, and Myers-Briggs. As an executive, she continuously participated in executive programs for growth, including the Global Leadership Institute(Linkage) and the mARS Innovation workshop in Canada.She                          was also one of four leaders at Best Buy to be selected to participate in the Champion leadership                         program focused on ethics, diversity and inclusion, and cultural and political navigation.                             Annette is a Green Belt in Lean Manufacturing, SCRUM Master and worked with W. Edward                       Deming as he guided one of her organizations to success in winning the Malcolm Baldridge                         Quality Award.
